2018 Dean’s Office Summer Interns

Positions OPEN: (3) Dean’s Office Summer Interns (paid internship)
 
Description of Position:  The Dean’s Office Summer Interns will work closely with the Dean of First-Year Students, the Director of Residential Life, the Director of Student Engagement and Leadership, Assistant Director of Student Life, and the Director of International Student Services.
 
These paid interns will work collaboratively on various projects for the above offices with some of the tasks being, but not limited to:

• Assisting in the housing assignment process of the incoming first-year class and with housing upper-class students on the Deferred Housing List
• Fielding questions and assisting incoming students and their families
• Updating the Residential Life Handbook
• Aiding in the preparations for the incoming Class of 2022
• Work with the First Year Dean to create and review materials for the incoming class
• Managing confidential student data and information
• Maintaining and creating content for The First-Year blog and Student Life Instagram
• Serving as receptionists for the Dean’s Office
• General responsibilities and projects for all of the offices listed above

Hours required: 35 hours/week for 11 weeks
Start Date: Monday 5/15/2017
Housing: Students can apply for Summer Housing at HCA
