Program Coordinator - Conservation

Position Overview:

The Conservation Program Coordinator is a full time position based out of the La Crosse, WI headquarters with travel throughout Wisconsin, as well as occasional trips to visit crews in Michigan and Indiana. During the field season will be responsible for supervising and supporting Crew Leaders in the field, as well as for administrative, logistical, and personnel support for 8-10 field crews.  In the off season you will assist with the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of up to 160 crew members annually.

You will work with each individual Crew Leader to ensure crew safety, high quality work, positive crew community, a strong crew work ethic, and the personal development of each Crew Member, among other responsibilities. The position duties are 60% field and 40% office and you must be comfortable with hard work and long days (including nights/weekends) in tough conditions as well as with extensive travel/overnights required throughout the course of the field season.
